Who knows!, the Airbus spread sheet has not always be right, but thats a big difference in numbers, I wonder if that change when they went from 319s to 320s?
In another note, I hope these deliveries are on time or earlier. It seems that everyone is after us. With Allegiant announcement to move ops to MCO early next year.

On an entirely unrelated and not-really important note...will we ever paint our old planes? I read Gordon Bethune's "Worst to First"...one of the things he mentioned as the first things he did when he went to Continental was paint the whole fleet one paint job. He said it looks bad to have two different paint jobs. Why did we stop painting? Not like this matters at all...
Let's get some NEW PLANES!!!

I used to care about the orders. But really. It does not matter. They can order more, defer, cancel whenever they want. Completely meaningless what the "plan" is for an airline. Especially at NK where it is official that the plan is to not have a plan.

You are correct, it isn't important how many they order, unless they actually show a positive growth plan. I don't think thats in the book for our near future. But I still think they want to hang around for awhile.
Things will have to change, specially when we start felling the punches from the other outfits, on our own turf.
Plus, now the secretary of transp. is disgusted with our costumer service, advertisement and bag handling procedures...
It just seems that we, all of the sudden, are on many crosshairs including the FAA,our POI and Assistants, competitors, passengers, reviewers, ETC.
I think our CEO will probably start felling some pressure and move towards some changes, specially when they have to start paying fines after fines. Indigo does not like that.
About the ACs paint. Everyone knows about the Cost/Weight of the new Carnival colors and the Rights of the Old paint job, I think money is the main object. It may not look good, but I don't think that PAX and/or Mgmt care about the colors. It will be interesting to see the new 320s colors.

Boredwlife...you'd think that'd make sense, but some of the A319s they gave back had new paint.
Either way, I'm learning my lesson with companies like Spirit. I just hope to get back online, get the hell out, don't look back and move on...

Guys, Spirit is not a bad place to work, it just needs some fine tuning, (or a little more than that). I think they are doing what they can with what they have. We all know the grass is always greener elsewhere. If we didn't think of this place as a stepping stone, it would probably be a lot better from our point of view.
Now from the Investing, and management side, we cant really speak, we don't know what they are thinking, or planning, but we do know that just like us there will always be room for improvement.
I think the era of building time and moving on its little by little coming to an end. After these crapy times we are living, we should not complain to much since these guys still have open doors. I am not a CO guy, just being positive.
Cheers
