Lol! Had a Spirit jumpseater the other day and we were talking about the operation and the NK contract and how I've been trying to get on. My CA was actually pretty amazed of some of the contract details and company facts we discussed. He might be re-evaluating his decision to hold out for Delta. LOL!

I personally flew with a guy and heard "I didn't spend 8 years here (9E) and be a checkairman to end up at a place like Virgin or Spirit." This was after I said I was leaving for VX in 2 weeks.

My thoughts on that.....Good! We certainly aren't interested in having another disgruntled PCL guy that thinks the world owes him everything.

Enjoy Bendover Air!

Places that have at least 10000 pilots already, places that have been shrinking at a steady 2-3% per year, places that have wide body airplanes so they can swing the gear on them for a good 10-15 years then be a reserve CA on a 737 for another 7 so they can finally retire after they flew their last Christmas 4 day. All that assuming they won't get furloughed at one point.

Pilots are sheep bro. They go where everyone else is going. All good though. I will just fly my little 320 all day every day while gaining 20% seniority per year for the next 10 years while these guys are waiting for that "really good job".

Absolutely agree. We the content and those chasing gold....those are the two groups.

Agree! QOL is number one priority for me, one of the many reasons I'd like to go to Spirit! I have no desire to fly a B767 to Africa.

I've always said I would LOVE to get a 747/777 type, however I would hate that type of flying...........

jetBlew was only the first because they had the sharklets installed aftermarket prior to us taking delivery of our first factory installed sharklet aircraft. They did it purely in an attempt to say they were the first.

You are correct sir, the problem is a lot of those clowns think they are still the only ones flying sharklets. It's put out in company propaganda and repeated by the employees who can't escape the brainwashing.

Love that pic of the A321 though, very sexy looking airplane. And, that's from someone who flew the Sexiest of All Planes: the Mighty C-130J!
That J's a proper machine. Handled a few in KIN. Seemed a bit quieter than the older H? models.
