It was busy most of the day yesterday, and I finally gave up for the day. Today, I got through after it literally rang for 10 minutes. I figured if they're not picking up, I'm gonna let it ring in their ear until they do.
Someone finally did pick up at the 10 minute point and I got my situation resolved.

This place is so jacked up right now......really kinda pathetic.

Absolutely. I'm getting a busy signal often as well as letting it ring for perhaps 5 minutes with no one picking it up. It is getting ridiculous.

Hiring Update-

Spirit Airlines will not be slowing down hiring during the summer. You can expect 18-24 pilots hired per month indefinitely.

Yup, same here...busy signal for 10 minutes, followed by ringing for 5.

One of the down sides to rapid expansion. 10 minute wait for crew scheduling or a 10 year wait to the left seat. Which would you rather have?

Eh....respectfully disagree.
It's not acceptable to hire endlessly for flight/ cabin crew and not do the same for the support staffing. One goes hand-in-hand with the other. Well, they do if there is any concern for operational integrity, that is.

You're right but the last place I worked they answered the phone right now, it was seven years to captain and second year pay here is captain pay there.
