They need to have an automated system answer, you enter your employee number, and get put in the queue. That way you can avoid all the "this is capt/FO so-and-so employee number blah blah blah" they already know who you are when they finally pick up. I don't know man, growing pains?? Also, what a colossal waste of nice printer paper with the nonsense NOTAMS. They tout a 'green' airline with efficient motors, but kill a tree a day with releases. I use FlightPlan.com app to get the WX and NOTAMS pertinent to MY flight only. And it's spot on with the info on the 60 pages of BS you have to sift through (and the important crap is highlighted in red)

Why contracting it out though? Do you not have enough airframes for your routes? It was incredibly stressful showing up to one of your flights, and the agent saying, "It's on Extra, I don't think you can jumpseat".
