I'm pretty well known as being somewhat less than supportive of SPA ALPA's current (and historical) "leadership".
I speciffically don't like it that we laid so much on the line (strike) to get so little.
HOWEVER, you outsider's need to understand one thing before you condem our contract. My W2 in 2012 will be DOUBLE my W2 from 2002. I was left seat all of both years.
I think we wasted a huge opportunity last year, but that shouldn't subtract anything from what we've accomlished over the last ten years.
We've raised the bottom from the cellar up to ground level. Be glad we aren't flying around for peanuts anymore

I heard ORD was "off the books" for now... but that doesn't mean it will not happen in the future.

That rumor is out there, but it is always out there. It is perpetuated by a "tip"ster who seems to be wrong on almost every account. If more than 7 do come, my thoughts would be even a broken clock is right 2 times a day.

Vegas is 'off the books' not ORD. I guess they are running into issues with everyone requiring a SIDA badge, employee parking, and the crew room would be at a distance that would require a shuttle to get to the gate
