Hey guys. Just put my app in and am wondering how senior the LAS crew base is going? Any idea how big they are planning on growing it? Thanks in advance...

LAS will open in February with 18 crews and the highest number I have heard is up to 50 crews in the months to follow. The bid awards for Vegas will not be out till mid December but my hunch is that initially it will go pretty senior. We do have our share of guys that commute from Texas, the west, the midwest and even some from the west coast, etc. that LAS is a much easer to commute for (of course this is dependent on how commutable LAS lines are). Also there are some that have no ties to the other bases and want "a change of scenery". I think as it grows a little, it will go senior at the top and junior at the bottom. None the less, wishing you the best of luck Washington!

I'm in the same position as Washington... Is it likely to get FLL out of training? If not, does it take very long to hold FLL out of training? I imagine ACY must be the junior base.

Acy is quite senior as is Detroit. Right now today, Fll is the jr base. But looking ahead, I see shrinkage in the Fll base due to airport construction. It's gonna be interesting to see how this all shakes out.
