VX may know what it is, I dont think VX knows WHERE it is, different ball game these days, hard to believe that one can be cheap, premium and make money at the same time.

They consider themselves in the LCC category, but they offer a full first class cabin (and services), along with an 'Economy Plus' product. Not exactly the 178 seats stuffed in a A320 kinda airline. Profits are elusive, but Branson has a vision for VX, and until Branson's ownership (49%) changes, or his controlling share (25% changes), VX will probably be around. If they were really concerned, then they would start doing things to conserve money and perhaps look for a merger partner. Apparently, management has said a big 'no' to AMR.

Default JUL open time

Anyone has any clue how and or why all this open time suddenly appear on Flica Open Time, right after the bids were awarded for august.

Is crew planning, scheduling keeping all these open trips from us to avoid tranny conflicts?

WT Fudge is this?

I've been trying to swap a damn trip for a while and the only open thing were to stupid red eyes (19th and 20th).

Anyone, anyone?, and please NO I voted for or against, Just a basic answer.

Thx guys.

That's because of the conflicts that were caused by the next month's schedules. They are the dropped trips. They should all be in the last 6 days of the month, or it could be the 5% held back for training, and they don't need the trips anymore for the trainees. Just my thoughts.
