Indigo can avoid a strike simply by giving us a contract we deserve.....its their move.

Oyyy...Now, more than ever, is the time to be the UTMOST professional. Take pride in your appearance, do your job safely, do your job effectively, and keep your eye on the prize at the end of this ballgame.

DO NOT BE UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want to be paid like an international airline captain, act the part and BE an international airline captain. If you want to get paid like some stereotypical drunk pilot, then act like a drunk stereotypical pilot.

Did you miss church last Sunday? What are you preaching about? So I guess celebrating a good vote outcome is unprofessional. Brilliant!

Normann...Yes, in fact, I did miss church this last Sunday but that's not the point I'm trying to make. Miss California was the topic of the sermon by-the-way. There is no need for insults.

It's my opinion that union business should be conducted in a professional manner, due to all the negative stereotypes associated with union "activity." I don't think i'm alone in this view.

Now, AFTER THE MEETING, I have no problem with having a beer or two in a social setting. Those that know me know that I would be the FIRST ONE to buy everyone a round of drinks celebrating our display of unity. Its good news and I'm not trying to spoil anyone's parade.

My message remains the same. Don't give the company any reason to go after you. Do those revisions, check the read-file, do the walk-around without yacking on your cell phone, fly the aircraft the way you're suppose to fly it, etc. Act like a PROFESSIONAL, recognize that you have a CAREER, and that you've worked hard to get to this point.

Then, and only then, we will be RECOGNIZED as professionals and get a good contract.

ALPO,

Dockers is not official union business. The tab is paid by the union but that is all there is to it. Frankly, I felt very insulting that you educate me about professionalism for that one line above. I see you meant no harm so: Peace!
