Forgive me if some of these questions were previously answered, but I don't have time to comb through several hundred posts. Thanks in advance.

1. Minimum days off a month?

2. Any retirements in the next few years?

3. Cost of family medical plan?

4. If you are on reserve, can you pick up open time on your days off? If so, is it paid on top of guarantee? Basically, I'm wondering if you can make extra money in your first year to help ease the burden of the low first year pay.

5. Are all the aircraft deliveries listed on the APC profile pretty much a concrete deal?

6. Last, how solid is the company? With the low cost structure, is the company extremely vulnerable to a spike in oil prices? When the pilot group ages and labor costs increase, will the company still be viable?

Thanks again.

1_ 12

2_ Few, nobody knows, (10 maybe 20)

3_ My case 4 people about 300 month
AETNA, but its going away, Friday the 19th we get the run down on the new "Good Luck Health Care"

4_72 hr guarantee. May be Jr Assignment on your day off with your consent. It goes above your guarantee.
(correction after CapScott slap)

5_yes, but also spirit.com under investor relations, you get the qtrly deliveries.

6_Trick qstn. How solid was AA, NWA,AT, UA etc, we were still making money at 120/barrel. Who knows. If you are looking at the next 10-20 years for stability and the SW, FEx, peace of mind, you won't find it here. We don't even know what's gonna happen next year, but the plans are there to grow. I think the great majority of us are gamblers and want NKS to succeed so we don't have to be in your position asking your questions.

About 90% of us want this place to do well, the rest is a toss between the "we are going down mentality" and the "I hope we fail just to prove the losers right"

Best of luck.

And Dilbert it's a cool dude, may be having a bad day. We all do.

4_Haven't seen resv in years, but I think you can put yourself "available" on your days off, and as long as you don't go over your FAA max all goes on top of your 72 guarantee. If you are removed from a day of resv due to a conflict for picking up a trip on your day off, you get that rsv day paid 4hrs I think.

Reserve pilots cannot pick up ot or list themselves as available. Unless you get a JA you are pretty much stuck at 72.

Captain, lots of senior guys bid reserve as you know and do quite well. I think much better than 72 with total contract compliance. That's good right?
