Spoke to a friend of mine that works at lga. She said airport damage may keep it closed until Thursday. Call dropped after that tidbit. Guess the cell tower batteries ran out.

3qtr reports.
25.0 mil
390.0 mil cash
And this is confusing me:

"Spirit ended the third quarter 2012 with 42 aircraft in its fleet. The Company has two new A320 aircraft scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter 2012, which deliveries would bring the year-end 2012 fleet to 44 aircraft. In addition, in October 2012, Spirit signed a Letter of Intent with ILFC to lease three used A319 and five A320neo aircraft, subject to final documentation. These aircraft are undergoing customary maintenance checks, and the Company currently expects one A319 aircraft to be delivered in December 2012 with two expected to be delivered in January 2013. Delivery dates for the A320neo aircraft will be confirmed after Spirit has made a decision on its engine type selection for the A320neo."

More than 2 next NOV-DEC?

Yep this is true. Expect significant more hiring. The training department is scrambling right now. Of course, they were told this at the last minute. Some instructors are coming back full time in the training department for the time being.

I don't see how they can Sailor. They barely manage to keep up with what they have now in training and maint.

They just announced the A319s will be to enhance operational reliability and because of increased scheduled mx events next year. Also 5 more A320 NEOs are signed for on top the of 45 we already ordered.

Does anyone know if AQP is cheaper than conventional GRND and SIM 121 PC. Including the start up cost of AQP?

All 3 A319s were ex-Spirit aircraft. They are sitting in Dublin right now. They were flown by Wind Jet in Italy. It's a 40 month lease. First one coming in mid-December. The other 2 in January. All new A320s for the remaining of this year and the next are paid for. The first new A320 is coming in February, then in scheduled in May, June, September, October, November and December.
