What about 6420TT, 250TPIC, 2880 in Airbus as SIC, 121 Experience, South & Central America experience, ATP & ICAO license , English & Spanish, same training at AFG (Spirit Training Center), no fails, no criminal records, no driving tickets, all records clear.... and nothing.
Someone can explain to me?

You have internal Recs?

Its a good question...people "assume" that Spirit will hire anyone with hours and experience in the Airbus, this isnt close to being accurate. Granted there are those who incorrectly post on here about "having a pulse is all you need" or "they are afraid you will leave."
You still have to play the game of a few internal recommendations and having a job fair under your belt will definitely help.
I would rather hire someone with less experience but has shown initiative to get the job, versus someone who submits an impressive resume and expects the offer to come flying in.
If you have done a job fair and submitted some LOR, that is a different story.

Please don't make any career decisions based on all the negativity on this site. All the guys and gals in my class were very highly qualified for the position, mostly regional captains. The first year pay is low but the quality of life is by far the best I have ever had in my 10 years in the industry. If you don't end up liking it you're much more competitive for a major with the Airbus type. The attitude on the line is not as negative as the loud minority on APC, most guys I fly with enjoy the job.
