Some G7 guys are saying its nearly a done deal. I dont see how this would benefit Spirit though unless their applicant pool is really that low.

Recruiting department has confirmed its in the works. Not saying it's a done deal. Could make some sense for Spirit though once the retirements really start to kick in at the big 3 and they start having a lot of guys leave for them.

Hey Everyone I was wondering if I could get some insight into the spirit attendance at the career fair. I just got an email stating they are doing limited on-site interviews.

I'm wondering what the overall experience/questions they ask a pilot at the career fair? I wasn't planning on interviewing but just a meet and greet and a face to go with a name type of situation. I'm just coming off a 4 day trip to go to this thing so of course I don't have any items with me I would expect a pilot to have on their persons at an interview. I did read online gouges and try searching but for job fair interviews their really isn't much to be found.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

More than anything hey just want to get to know you. They will ask you about your background and various experiences in the Airlines. They'll probably ask you why spirit and why you want to leave your current job. If they sense that you see your current job as a stepping stone they'll probably not hire you, and the same goes for they way you view spirit. They are mostly looking for guys who could be happy here or even staying where you're at. It's a stress free interview, and the stuff on aviationinterviews.com is a good sample of what you can expect. Good luck

Funny, I'd ask the same thing.

Hey Guys,

I'm wondering, what are the chances of getting an interview with these times and credentials: 2,000 TT and and around 1,800 of those hours in a BE-1900 as an SIC under 135 and no college degree?

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

go to a job fair, if they like your personality you have a shot. the harder part would be getting through our poor training program

Did the job fair a while back, pretty competitive, the dude said I did a good job hope to see you again. No word yet, but I keep hearing of 2000 hour guys interviewing. I really want to go there too, it's just luck I guess.
