From what I'm hearing, not good. Not good at all.

Guess we (or at least I) should have listened when the seasoned Spirit guys laughed at the thought of an "expedited" contract

Not good at all is right. Bendo offered the guys hotels to stay the weekend to wrap this up. His idea of wrapping it up involves gutting the transition completely and offering us pay around current VX and at 3rd year pay parity with current JB. They don't expect to meet again until next year.

Call a rep. They seem to be very informed right now and I believe it might even be worse than what I just described. Right now I want honesty from the union. No more "we're close."

Yeah, false hope doesn't really do anything constructive

Also sad how big of a raise virgin rates would be for the bulk of this group. We are so far behind

What happened to being 46 mil apart or whatever the number was back in August? If the company's at VX rates now and JB parity after 3 years, the union position was only 46 mil above that? Something doesn't add up!

Damn! Virgin's pay rates look pretty good compared to us. If I was better looking and wanted to live out on the left coast I'd apply. Not really, but this is really starting to make us spirit pilots look like what we are: discount, ultra low cost pilots. We're not industry leading anything, looks like we're the anchor on the industry.

Don't forget that this past summer's contract relief "quid" is included in that offer.

Does that mean the actual offer would have been even worse? 🙄

That rate shows the extent that our payscale is so damn lopsided and my suspicion is that we are not trying to fix that instead staying focused on the top rate.

Thank you, now can we all finally agree to fly safely as possible and follow the contract to the letter? The only way you will ever see a contract here is if labor affects the stock price negatively! Again, think about the resolution passed in FLL to replace or at least get new blood on the NC. Let's not repeat 2010. Apparently the 46 million apart and the constant we are so close comments were lies after all. They got to keep their jobs though.
