I was afraid it was going to be like this. If you want a fair contract apply to an airline that has one.

Now that the MEC has made public the company's latest position, it's only fair that the union also disclose its current proposal. That way, the pilots can judge for themselves whether we should stay the course, or whether the process is devolving into a slow-motion train wreck.

Thank you MEC and NC for stopping any give backs. I would have been a no vote. Welcome to Spirit boys and girls, the only reason we have what we have now is because of the strike.

For the folks who were waiting to apply elsewhere that bell just rang.

Based on the email communication, I have no problem with staying the course with current MEC in place

Jesus that is horrible. Thank you for not sending that to the MEC and us. Retirement is a complete joke. No match on money over $200k which is why the match must die.

Pay is a downright insult. DOS+4 is not even on par with what DOS should be. We don't even beat what Jetblue has next month, and that's 4-??? years from now at most longevities. Still have a 15 years scale. Why?

Scope I'd like to see the details cause that's where the devil is

Ltd, same as with scope

Transition: feel free to build up the dropped trip with different trips and R days which is exactly what they can do now. Only difference is that if they can't you lose pay protection. What bull****. They now put the burden on you to fill that time instead of themselves Give me a break. If they used the current language like they should they would solve their own problem. If they want me to bite on that new transition language I'm going to need the UAL extension rates and retirement at DOS

Simply NO!

Ps if they think anyone is going to apply here if that was ratified they have another thing coming. Anyone that comes on board with that locked in for 5 years will probably have the skill set to fly into a volcano

My vote woulda been NO. Look, you get rid of the transition conflict, you might as well just go ahead and have PBS. The pay rates are insulting, what it's really telling us is that we're an inferior airline to Virgin and JetBlue. I'm not saying we're better pilots or anything, but our airline is much much more profitable yet we're not being compensated as such. I think you're going to see operational costs start to rise.
