FLICA has changed color from blue to gray...who says we are low tier....these kind of upgrades are of the highest tier!

I agree the last thing I would want is a SWA merger. I also agree that red/green is a non-negotiable.
But to be a captain making fo wages and then dropping tons of time to make rj wages- that's a part time job. I'd say this a career for most so that's not an option. I know you see all sides but many of the hobbists don't. Hobbists will to forego money just to have 22 days off a month need to just go work at Starbucks for fun because they obviously don't need this job to be a career.

Looks like Bendo and BF are trying to do some damage control regarding the low tier comments.. Pretty weak explanation of what why he said what he did..
If they felt the need to explain the comments, it's because they are worried. Looks like the rumblings on the line are finally reaching them.
Oh btw, this is on the latest podcast

Haha. How long did this take?
So glad we have FOs busting out ukuleles for delayed passengers in LAS. "Living the Spirit way" says Bendo. I hope he had a tip jar out.

Fornaro didn't mean we are low tier pilots in terms of piloting or compensation. He simply meant we are competing with the lowest tier of the industry and have to stay "cost competitive" with them. I.e. Our compensation has to be low tier.
Thanks for clearing that up Fornaro.

That podcast made me laugh. What low tier management! I wonder what all the senior captains will think of it once they get back from their June 1st and 2nd four day trips with move up pay?
