The only benefit to "focused negotiations" was a deal that was going to put $$ in our pockets without delay.

With this clearly behind us, we need to get a contract that builds on what they agreed upon in the term sheet. Yes rates need to come up and transition needs to stay, regardless of how they monetize it. Spirit management will not come close to paying the actual yearly cost of transition to us.

We need to get rid of trip averaging and get a higher min day to offset these awful 4 day trips they produce. How about short term disability so you don't need sick time donations when something in your life goes wrong? No where in that term sheet was it even a possibility we would see these improvements.

Ackerman you have failed us. Your experiment of working with the company played you for fool you are. We have nothing to show from your antics this spring. Only time will tell if the NC committee can get the job done or if we need new blood in there too.
I want answers for all that , the "summer breeze relief" and what kind of asking package did we have to get such a crap offer.

In the words of Judge Smails on here "you'll get nothing and like it." We will not get jack sh*t for the relief. Remember when Ackerman kept telling everyone they were working on a quid? Then it became a deal that would be thrown into the contract? Clearly that worked out in our favor. At this point let this "experiment" with Ackerman go down in the books as a mistake. One that cost this pilot group dearly.

No no no. You misunderstood him. He was never working on quid it was squid. The story I heard is after his tireless work to update his podcast with the status of his upgrade training, he got a little hungry. He was overheard ordering calamari at the pool and due to a south florida language barrier it was misinterpreted as quid. An honest mistake.

Those of us here for the strike could've told Ackerman that good will gets you nowhere with this management team. They consistently ignore logic and turn their backs to goodwill. Even down to the little stuff. Remember they fired the new hire with a brain tumor?

Tomorrow during the call how about we all ask Ackerman where our "quid" is? Maybe he can reach into his pockets and pay it out himself since it will never be coming from the company.

When the new survey data drives the expectations up even further from this steaming turd of a term sheet (or "supposals") what spin job are we going to get now? Get us the contract we deserve or get out of the way.

Please don't equate the term sheet to a steaming turd. Typically a steaming turd feels good coming out, and you are mighty proud to see it. So I don't think this term sheet is like a steaming turd--at least my steamers...
