Exactly the above. If this junior MEC won't get you a flat rate than who will? Not answering your phone will get you a flat rate much sooner. But it is up to you. Until we keep reinforcing the idea of cheap and always available labor for a bit of coin, you will not see a flat curve. 7 calls the last 24 hours on my phone. I have never gotten this many over Christmas. May be guys are starting to wake up.

Yeah, let me get right on that. Thanks, but no thanks. Not even for 300%...since that's still below premium rate we should be making for working open time on a holiday. Family is far more important.

I always love his "pilot schedule is adequate" line he always adds in these messages.
Sad part is they will be filling these open time slots with pilots more than wiling to put the uniform on and head on it.
