I'm just curious. What are you going to do with the names you find in the ja logs? Publicly shame them? Crap in their flight bag? Cross them off of your Christmas card list? Unfriend them from Facebook? I'm working anyway, so you won't find me. I'm honestly curious.

As much as I would like to see that I think it would be divisive. The last thing we want is to drive a wedge between pilots, we need to stand united. People are gonna be tempted by 200%.

I guess as long as nobody is on furlough, I don't see the problem with using a provision in a contract that people went on strike for to make extra money. By the same logic, you would have to give people crap for dropping a trip in a transition conflict and picking up another trip in its place. I seriously doubt the company will cave in negotiations because they had to cancel a handful of flights. Instead of fly your line, how about fly your contract.

With United going to vote on the extension next month, do current contracts provide any leverage in negotiations other then "hey look what they got" ?

Anyone have experience with long call reserve?
How long of a call out is it typically?
Are long call reserve usually called before short?
Any thing else you can tell me about the way it usually works?
Just trying to imagine how it might affect me as a commuter. Never been at an airline that had it before.
