This. Absolutely this. When **** hits the fan they WILL take us to court and get the concessions they "need." We don't have that luxury when times are good. We need industry average or better for all of us before that happens.

What am I supposed to apologize for? I posted that there was only 1 CA open trip for the 31st which was correct. 3-5 of January is another story. You see me as the resident antagonist because I've seen how this company handles negotiations, and post that reality. I'm a troll because you don't like the reality I'm dropping on you. Happy new year, and good luck at your new carrier.

Absolutely get it while you can! And we should, and I'll hold out until we do. It's all about leverage.. And first time since deregulation we have quite a bit of leverage.. And I plan on voting no until I see something fantastic.. Difference being I don't take it personal...you buy a house, do you go in full ask price? Or do you offer Lower amount in hopes of a good deal? It's negotiating 101. It's how business works. Thankfully it's a 'sellers' market... And we have the leverage to accept nothing short of full ask... Times are good and we will, and deserve more. Market forces indicate that.. But I don't take it personally.. It was a pathetic offer...they know it, but can't fault them for starting low... Why wouldn't they? They are smart, and cheap.. Usually 2 traits Very wealthy people have..
Oh okay then, thanks anyways, but understand this, we will be wearing our pins.

Of course it's relevent. If all Spirit labor groups made legacy wages with legacy longevity. Guess what, it wouldn't be an ulcc anymore, it'd be a "legacy" airline with an a la cartel pricing scheme and legacy costs. You can't have it both ways.
What's irrelevant is whether you feel like you're worth more or that you say you won't "subsidize" the profits. Because after it's all said and done, you simply will do it because thats the nature of the ULCC beast.

Does BBB take home less because he's the CEO of a ULCC?

Are you fornicating kidding? Who said ANYTHING about ALL labor groups? Are you a highly skilled, highly experienced, manager of technology and personel? Or are you a knuckle dragging manual laborer? Let the other groups take care of themselves!

BBB will not take home less because he's the CEO of the most profitable airline in the world and has done an excellent job replicating Ryanair.
My sack is just fine.
I see these posts about how people say they will get their apps together if they don't get a industry average/leading contract. They will be waiting a long time and will be disappointed. In the end they will stay because they've invested too much time in the company. If it's their true intention to leave, better sooner than later.

Anyone know if I can walk to rental car thing in FLL or do I have to take the shuttle?

You can walk if your so inclined, but if you've never walked to employee parking from terminal 4 you'll probably get lost. If you can find someone heading to employee parking, follow them and then make your way to level 3 in the same garage. Seriously, you'll transit 3 garages and 2 elevators, it's a pain until you figure it out.
