Keep in mind a good portion of the uptick is rebound from yesterday's MARKET-WIDE sell off.

JBLU, AAL, DAL, UAL all down today. The market is telling us they're glad to see a management shakeup

Hey guys,

I wanted to just let you know that this is a direct result of the Board seeing how generous Ben was in the final offer to ALPA. That very generous, nay I say, exorbitant term sheet was Ben's undoing!
You should realize that you guys are already paid above market (reference Frontier) and that latest term sheet would have removed the "U" from ULCC, leaving Frontier in pole position!

Don't forget the free smiles to go along with the $2 coffee!

The Street appreciates the fact that the new CEO has experience in dealing with price wars with the legacies. I believe that most analysts weren't convinced by BBB, his optimism, and his ability to lead the airline to higher margins once American and delta started trying to match fares.

Not surprised by that, he was the CEO when the company was sold to SWA and I haven't met too many ex Trannies who liked that entire deal

Best thing he did was sell AT to SWA, but that opinion varies greatly.

Idk if it was him or how the SWA deals went down. Many AirTran guys got screwed over with the deal. He would be the likely target of anger though.

Did I forget how the AT, WN thing happened? Maybe I miss understood. It was a buy out. Basically, a hostile takeover right? CEO has no control over that.

Maybe I'm confusing the YX almost AT merger but bought out by Republic by a hostile takeover?
