This is true.

FWIW, just spoke with a few friends who have been told directly from JA that he is not running.

Prudent thing to do. Being a status rep and MEC chairman at the same time was a bad experiment, as we have now seen. How that's even legal, I don't know. It's like being a POTUS and a Senator at the same time.

Demand that your voice is heard and demand they do something until your happy. If not than get a group that will throw these guys out. When you sign up for these rolls you take on a service roll not a roll to make things better for yourself . JA has to be ashamed his tactics of a regional pilot rep has failed again. Mesa is still hiring JA

At a certain point, the email replies just cease. To your point, that's exactly what DFW pilots are doing. They want a voice too and are tired of hearing echoes from the top that they're "a bunch of stupid cowboy-hat-wearing-idiots." I believe that was the quote.

That's not cool, but DFW should of vote for their own and they did not all the LAS guys won strong in the votes. Well when I have an issue I corner my rep in the jet bridge and demand to know why and what. I suggest you do the same.

It wasn't a landslide. But the LAS guys did effectively rally their troops with a good ground game and many people believed in "experience" and "hope and change." I know of many, many regrets.
Funny that I never see a rep or anyone wearing a P2P lanyard, ever. Does that committee still exist?

Kinda hard to do when you are working and votes only count when you travel to another base. Something seriously wrong with the process when the larger base has to travel 1000 miles to vote. ALPA needs to modernize this aint the 80s anymore. I guess they are to busy fighting the good fight against 3rd class medical reform.
