Just use the ignore function for (Hotel8). These trolls will start popping up more and more, management finally knows social media plays a big roll in society. I think they realized that after the strike in 08'. The social media campaign will ramp up to get some of you roiled or some of you to engage in their antics. They believe a substandard contract can pass, we saw this in December. We need the NC to show them that we need industry leading in order to pass. After all they seem to have industry leading pay, why can't we? (Any metric you want to use to gauge upper management pay here will show you it is at the top end of the industry)
My advice, just ignore the trolls, and don't engage. They out themselves so easily, it's almost like watching a 12 year old try to buy beer at a liquor store.

Hotel8 obviously has nothing to do with management. This troll is not skilled. Management would not use such a juvenile amateur for his kind of propaganda move. They would use something/one much better and less blunt edged.

Seriously people get a grip.

I'm going with gonyon in his one. Even though I was hoodwinked at first, it's easy to see this guy has no idea what he's talking about. I'm quite sure our NC wouldn't negotiate to this crap. As I said before, August is just gonna be a "howdy, how y'all doing?" meeting between the union and bob, that's it. I'm also starting to think nothing is really coming in September except for, some cheesy spirit emails announcing new cities of Lincoln, Nebraska, Des Moines, Iowa, and Oklahoma City. Or similar type cities. No new bases, no crappy regional jet for spirit, nothing major. I think we are making way too much of this 'coming in September' statement.

Troll feeds on your bewilderment and rhetorical questions, guys. Just like when you see a person standing on the sidewalk at an intersection holding a clipboard: pretend your taking an important phone call, don't make eye contact, and just keep walking...

If you decide to make this place the sh1t hole you are hinting, this place will become a training ground -
and segway to other airlines such as United. You are also going to run the risk of flying inexperienced captains with 2000 hr FO's and having a hull lose that will sink this airline. We have come close a few times and current data has been trending toward the neg side.
Couple o'points:

1. Place has always been a training ground and may always be. Certainly to be determined and I hope nobody would even consider that joke of a post by 8 as acceptable.

2. Just had this conversation with saftey, for obvious reasons, but 1 hull loss, at least according to them will not sink this place or so they've been told. We are apparently past that point. Not that anyone wants one OR wants to be involved.

It's a good idea to take a picture of the OAT and cabin temps on the ECAM with your phone, if you are going to run the APU with ground support equipment available. The increased APU usage hasn't gone unnoticed, and is being investigated. CYA!

What do OATs have to do with running the APU? If the external air blows 85 degrees cause it is garbage and the cabin temp is inhumane id say the OAT is irrelevant. You'd know that if you weren't in an air conditioned office I suppose. We'll handle the complicated airplane stuff, tiger!
