We don't have those costs. And you have compared their top ticket price to our average stripped down bare fare without any add ons.

Apples and oranges.

Oh you mean to say that American doesn't charge or make money with their Admiral's clubs? Fancy Hubs? You mean the ones we use like ORD, and DFW? Ever seen their menu? They sell overpriced sandwiches, salads, cookies and chips. Ever heard of main cabin extra? Where you pay for more leg room. Even seen someone pay for alcohol on a legacy flight? Guess what, they also charge for bags too.

They charge more for a ticket than we do and short of including a "free" 4oz beverage (not even the can) and two carry-ons, they charge for more "Extras" than Spirit does.

They also make more money with additional charter and cargo that we don't do.

So how small would you say it is? Here is what my flawed thinking is based on.

"Our business is labor intensive, with labor costs representing approximately 23.2%, 19.9% and 19.1% of our total operating costs for 2015, 2014 and 2013, respectively. As of December 31, 2015, we had 1,266 pilots, 2,075 flight attendants, 35 flight dispatchers, 499 mechanics, 517 airport agents/other and 455 employees in administrative roles for a total of 4,847 employees. As of December 31, 2015, approximately 73% of our employees were represented by four labor unions. On an average full-time equivalent basis, for the full year 2015, we had 4,326 employees, compared to 3,722 in 2014."

Do you get a hotel if your flight cancels or is re crewed in base? Also, what is your commuter policy? Thanks!

So 80% of the costs of running the airline is not labor and the pilots are not that entire 20%. They can afford industry leading trust me

They have given hotels but are not required in base.

Commuter policy: 2 attempts. After the first notify scheduling and they can positive space you or say try again. After the second you're off the hook without pay. Unlimited amount, they can't tell you you've done too many.

Yeah, those numbers were bogus - who knew Cujo could work a calculator... Still do not understand why he is arguing against us, even though he is the Smartest.
