For those of you who think this is over the line. I do not care. As others have said, this is all information posted on Flica, not a secret. The pilot group has the right to see why they are not seeing a new contract any time soon. People like N.L. helping the company out is a reason why.

Will this deter the action, probably not. Consider it our version of Wikileaks...freedom of information.

This kind of stuff might incur the response of the moderators considering what they said in the rules sticky.

Also, while I like the enthusiasm for getting a new contract, I don't like this method of making it happen. How do you know what the personal financial situation is of all of the people you are calling out? I am all for a new contract and I think that the company will eventually tick off enough pilots that it will start to matter, but for now lets lay off of calling out people like this on a public forum.

Compared to the pilots that went on strike in 2010, this group has lost its sack along the way somewhere.

If you really think THAT is the reason we don't have a contract, I feel bad that this makes you angry.

Did you not get angry last month when the company offered its proposal for healthcare?? It was less than we have now!

When planes stop moving, they will get serious about giving us a contract.

Can't go calling guys out when they've done nothing actually wrong. Where's the line? Can a guy move trips and pick up 5 extra hours so he or she has a better line?? Are we talking about the DFW Captain that pulls 150 credit every month? We have a contract and if they stay within the lines you can't be judge, jury and public executioner. Do I agree with guys do 150 a month. Hell no. The problem is that's another Captain we could upgrade. We have a group that doesn't see the big picture, only the next pay check. $$$$$

I do not think you can say that flights not being canceled, because pilots are lining up to fly them when called, is helping our cause.

How can you not think this would not help the position of our negotiations if our negotiators were able to say "Yes, we see there are more canceled flights because of lack of crews. This is something that we, ALPA, have not condoned or asked for, but it is clear, the pilots are angry and want a contract that recognizes their efforts"

ALPA can not come out and say "fly your line, dont pick up open time," that is illegal. But how dense are some of us to believe that is not what needs to be done. Fly your line and stop helping.

I guess it's time to apply with the training department. I suppose I could get away with making a few extra bucks there and not be individually persecuted. Great way to build pilot unity,... Keep up the good work and high five!

It doesn't really matter what someone's personal financial situation is. This is a union. Those that are either lucky or responsible enough to not have overextended themselves should not be the only ones responsible for holding the line. Got medical bills? Couldn't be more than a few thousand dollars on any of our health plans so that's not a good argument. I don't care if you have six ex wives and $100k in credit card debt. It's a union. We don't act autonomous, we act unified.
