How can you support the current administration as a union worker and not be a hypocrite?
Well said, at the same time we shouldn't single out our union brothers because a loud few don't agree with how they're legaling behaving under our union contract. I wish our workers unions had more strength in this country. Unfortunately our hands are tied by the power of the government who is controlled by corporations. I am always confused why 95% of union pilots are so far right wing. We are labor workers. Not to sound too crazy left but you all should check out Micheal Moore's "Who to Invade Next" if you want an example of how weak our labor unions are compared to Europe.[/QUOTE

Gravy chokers love bragging about their gravy ways. Ask one and they will tell you how they do it. Its not a secret. First step is realizing it is happening.

I personally know 3 people, I won't call out by name but have spoken with them face to face that do exactly what was described. All 3 call scheduling as soon as something pops up to see if they can get it added to their reserve line above guarantee with MUP. All 3 brag about the credit they get but can't see that if they would just stop going against the contract since reserve can't be standing available that the rate of pay for industry standard at guarantee would be the same as the 125-140 hours credit they are getting now.

This happens in every base and every seat. A contract violation, no doubt. And yet people still say calling out actions like this is a "bold statement" and wonder how it happens. Count a few on the FLL CA side who do it every month they can.
Look at CA RES 169 in FLL and wonder how he is on the SA list and on reserve this month?
I see the FO you are talking about. The action usually is clear when they list for the SA list on the last day of the month.
So for those who do not like calling out those who take JRMs...what about those who are clearly violating the contract as in the case above? Do they get a pass too because they have sick kids and a grandma in need of a new kidney?

[QUOTE=Sailor;2335208]Yes this is us, always complaining. But I am trying to point out the ignorance of union pilots and the rest of the "poor working class" who continues to support government that suppresses the working class by creating a common enemy, terrorists, immigrants. Who's getting rich? All you guys on here preaching unity should be marching with McDonalds employees and the fast food union as well.

Or take advantage of the "American Dream" and make some money without having to rely on a group. Like a unoin.
