Please correct me if I'm wrong but bad news is normally announced on a Friday, they usually leave the good news for Monday or earlier in the week. Kinda makes sense if you think about it

Word from a Fa in recurrent says they told them they're expecting some AA flying soon.

In air101's world there is a lot of "sitting on things" going on. SkyWest is always sitting on an announcement according to air101. He's made it known on several threads. Maybe when he finds out about TSH sitting on an announcement he will tell us.

LOL the only thing more unreliable than pilot rumors are FA rumors. Maintenance, however always knows what is going on. Maintenance has to be ready to go before anybody else, and therefore are usually the first to know anything. Which is why the memo a couple of weeks ago about increasing maintenance capacity in ORD by hiring contract maintenance is very interesting.

True that. Something is coming. I wish they would just tell us already.

The word "LIDO" in the article just made me cringe. We used LIDO charts at 9E for a while and it was a miserable format. This seems like a pretty good move in the right direction if it has nothing to do with the actual LIDO charts. If I'm not mistaken Lufthansa created the LIDO charts and 9E, Lufthansa and FedEx were about the only airlines that used them.
