Anyone heard the new hot line rumor that these are being brought on based on our performance? Something like 25 are going back if we don't meet standards?
It must get old sitting in the crew room thinking up doom and gloom stories. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was an additional 25-30 that were based on performance.

Yes, this is exactly what I heard from a friend at Express Jet who is an ALPA rep. If we can staff the initial batch, we will get more. Also, these aircraft are contingent on our performance. That is what United said. Apparently, we have the worst performance of the United Express carriers. And I heard this from him before our deal was announced.

We have gotten our bonuses the every month since October. I doubt the company would set our bonuses at an unacceptable performance level.
ALL flying is contingent of performance, but in my many years at TSA I have seen exactly 1 regional get its flying pulled for performance that didn't include unable to staff(Mesa/Delta).
Performance is important but price is king. Plus, when you are dealing with who is better at the regionals you are literally talking about 1-2% differences in performance. Not something you would pull a contract for.

The flying is going to be here. We will staff it. The world will turn. Those pilots that aren't proactive and don't hop on when the timing is right will miss a great ride.

Price is king. Look at the nonsense going on at KDEN on the express ramp side.. If it's cheap it works..

Yea I haven't seen our performance numbers, so I'm not real sure where we rank in terms of that. It does, however, seem logical that United would give the aircraft to someone else if we are not getting the job done. I am as happy as anyone that our company is growing and becoming a place where people want to come work. I was just stating what I heard from a very reliable source who is also a great friend. Performance and staffing were going to be factors for us. I'd like to think we'll accomplish both without much of a problem.
