I was just assuming based on yelp reviews and location that it was the spot.
To be fair I had a long term training event last year. Company didn't put us up in a place with a kitchenette. I gained 10lbs out eating out. I look forward to some schnucks and cooking in.

I wouldn't say it's the spot. Pretty rough crowd now. But then it sounds like you've been around that area. If you really want to test weight gains go get takeout at the China House, it's by the crown plaza shopping area. Best chinese joint in Stl, people go out of their way to go there.

You won't be able to afford the healthy food and there are very limited kitchen utensils so you will probably still gain 10 lbs. Doesn't help that the gym is pretty worthless too. Your diet will mainly consist of lean cuisines, sandwiches and meals in a bag.

As for the Super Bowl, Im hoping they have this hotel meeting kind of early or afterwards, so we don't miss much of the game. Anyone remember when their class hotel meeting was time wise?

It wasn't that hard to keep it under control during training. It just takes a little effort

Drive your car and join the local Golds Gym. There are two within 10 minutes and they are offering month by month memberships at $50.00 per month. You can buy healthy food at the nearby grocery store and stay in shape. It really isn't that hard!

Driving isn't an option really. But I do plan to frequent the grocery store. Thanks for the info.

I would encourage driving to STL, it's centrally located unless you're coming from CA or something. A day or two worth of driving is totally worth it. You'll be there for a while, it will make life much much easier.

It is when you are only making $1100/month during training and $800 of that is just going to student loans.
