It might be that I'm tall and good looking, but the stinkeye was heavy in the B gates in IAH this week.

This happened frequently for me when I was a IAD-reserve F/O. Each time, I had a PHL-/RIC-/MDT-turn added to my schedule and was notified upon arrival. Each time, I was inbound to the A gates or C gates and had to go to the other concourse. Each time, I had less than 30 minutes to do so. Each time, the outbound CA called scheduling. Each time, scheduling called me trying to figure out why I wasn't at the outbound gate. The scheduler couldn't look at my pairing and figure out that (a) this was assigned to me at the last minute, (b) the ground time between flights was minimal and (c) couldn't, or wouldn't, consider how long it takes one to get between the concourses at IAD.

Ha, used to happen to me in ORD. You'd pull into F-14 and have a plane swap to B-22b on a 24 minute turn. Scheduling would be calling you almost immediately saying the gate agents wanted to start boarding where is the crew?!
