again what logic did you use to get that?
They have us as CA...we can fly both, we can pick up both (they are heavy on FO's, not at all as CA)
for the few that have gotten trips only 1 has flown as an FO, the rest as CA
WE all understand what it takes to upgrade (roughly 50 after the reduced upgrade mins)

No. They are FOs. They cannot hold a Captain spot indefinitely and the company will have to upgrade all eligible FOs on property before they can hold Captain. However, they can pick up OT on their non-reserve days like anyone else. They can only proffer for a trip in whichever reserve pot theyre in I'd imagine.

No. I think they are going to designate some as Captains and maybe some as FOs. They'll bid on whichever list they are put on. They are still pilots and have a right to put a bid in on their seniority.

this has been discussed a 1000 times...we know how it works...I feel like you're upset at the situation in which we have no control of...supposedly they tell us which reserve we are every month (not to sure on how that works) for this month, they have us a CA reserve and we can fly either seat and have used us as such.

At least that is what we were told, Scheduling didn't think we would be done this quickly. I didn't choose to put on that list, they just put me there

you're missing the point, we don't have a choice on which to bid, they put us on whichever list they need us and then we bid.

we aren't FO's, we aren't street CA...if you think we are something else fine...just don't get butt hurt when the guy in the left seat is a CQFO (most are cool with what's going on because you need us bad and we were fortunate enough to get in early)

Nope. Not at CQFOS. Not because of them being able to pick up OT. I'm frustrated that I say certain things and you tell me I'm missing the point when I'm pretty much saying what you are. I'm not attacking you. I'm actually defending you.
