Default TSA vs Envoy

Looking for opinions.

Both should be a one leg commute out of training. Mostly looking for quality of life. I can't see doing this for more than two to four years. If I can't make it to a major by then, I will need to go back to doing something I can make more money at.

Unless you have deep Connections, even at Envoy 4 years is too short for the flow. You're probably looking at at least 5 before you're competitive.

I've had it so many times when even the local airport mechanic would be concerned about TSA making them sign off the airplane anyways.

Same could be said at Tsa too except more like 11 years before you're competitive.

So you're saying our management knows?

UA can pull planes from any of the companies that operate for them due to poor performance. Delta did it to Mesa back in the late 2000's.

Then why, when TSA couldn't take any more planes, did UAL send them to Commutair rather than leaving them at Expressjet?

UA owns 40% of CommutAir. If you were UA, where would you send them?

TSA holdings has its own mechanics. They are spread among TSA, Compass, and Gojet and work on all 3 carriers. Outstation maintenance, however is usually the lowest bidder who is farthest from the field....

Obviously not Expressjet. And show me where UAL has announced they have purchased a stake in Commutair. The only place you hear about that are Commutair guys saying their CEO said this.
