So typical of the ALPA apologist who will not be accountable for anything.

Now let's look at the evidence that your union dues paid DALPA thugs turned over to the ATL chief pilots. Evidence that supposedly showed violations of law and company policy. DPA didn't cry about someone turning over evidence, DPA simply said look at their evidence and you'll see we are totally within our rights. And of course, DPA was right and the DALPA thugs were wrong.

You mean like your DALPA thugs that used union dues to pay themselves to disrupt the free speech rights of Delta pilots? You're right...that was stooping as low as it gets.

You're unreachable, but I knew that going in. You're hoping beyond hope to impress your thug masters so you can stick your hand in that union dues honey pot. There's no redirection going on at all with me. Just stating the facts and you can't stand them.

I'm proud though that no matter how much thugs like you bait the DPA guys, they continue to act with class and dignity. Something you would know nothing about.

Carl...pretty much par for the course. I'm still wondering when 'ol Slow will fess up about the hooker that was flown from DTW to Vegas to trade "favors" for votes for the '06 winner. Trust me, he'll deny it...but he forgets that too many people have talked, including the person who authorized the travel and paid for the room with his MEC's funds. And he also knows that when the person who headed up ALPA travel found out and blew the whistle, that person got fired.

Sure hope there's no paper trail... really stinks when that happens.

Don't expect an honest answer back from him. He'll jump on this one to trash talk me and my airline who got tired of his lies and decerted ALPA. Got a real nice contract after we did too. Funny what happens when your union doesn't sandbag you. Double digit pay raises and growth...20.1% profit sharing...anyone seen that in an ALPA contract lately? On 1.56% dues?

In fairness, we did have to give up one thing. We no longer have a union president who is too good to talk to the masses. We have to put up with a Division Director who actually works with pilots, mechanics, dispatchers and others. Speaks to them daily. And when there is a strike, all those people ALPA considers to be "lesser" stand with us. And he does all that for a lot less money and no fancy car or driver. He drives himself in his own car that he bought and paid for.

When you have to fly a hooker from DTW to LAS, that must have been SOME hooker. I'm told they already have a few of those in Vegas.

Glad to hear about your new found success. I take it you're at IPA now?

I'm not surprised.

The logical follow-up to that is simple - At what point in the contract negotiating process do we suspend the squabbling, and focus on getting our contract?

ATC might want to refresh you on which MEC he believes did this before you engage...

I don't give a damn which MEC did it. If any MEC did it - ALPA did it...THAT'S the point.

I expected you to deny that ALPA would have done such a thing. Instead you tweak the guy for not remembering which ALPA MEC did it.

Unreal.

Last time I checked, ALPA was still our union. There is only one union doing our negotiating. I DO hope they are nervous about DPA. I hope it will keep them on their toes and represent the DELTA pilots and DELTA pilots' interests. At this point, "squabbling" is good. It gets out all of the points of view of all of the DELTA pilots. I have no doubt that when the time comes (actual negotiations) the pilot group will be united. If DALPA does things right, then they don't really have a reason to fear DPA. If they don't, then it's good to have choices.

Nice attempt at trying to pin it on the redtails...as usual, you are wrong.

The "No hard feelings!" approach? I disagree. I think telling pilots working long hours on our behalf that you'll start supporting them, and dial-down the criticism - because we're getting down to the short strokes - is a flawed assumption.

I'm reading a lot of stuff on this thread that shows SOME pilots don't seem capable of overlooking long-ago slights. If you're saying the rabid ALPA bashers will suddenly flip the switch and start being supportive, I would love for you to be right...

Karnac, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. You aren't going to change my opinion and I'm not going to change yours. Opinions....everybody has one and you know what they say about opinions.
