Well you guys don't actually have to join the Teamsters. Just throw the membership packet away. But it is a union shop so you will be required to pay dues or your fired. You won't get any union protections but you do get to keep the chip on your shoulder.

Actually, association fee payers remain members of the bargaining unit, if not the union. The association fee is specifically to pay their share of administration of the CBA. As such, they are due the same protections as card carrying members. The only difference is that AFP's can't vote in union elections and can't run for union office.
I seriously doubt this is the last chapter, but civility from everyone would not hurt.

According to my <5 minutes of research, you will need to take God, Yaweh, Allah, Buddha, FSM, etc. into your heart (assuming you have not already)(or you can just lie about it, too, I suppose) if you want to divert 100%, but it looks like it can be done.

Carl,
What's worse, someone that uses a lot of words to explain a situation to a group of rather slow learners or the guy that feels the need to quote the entire missive he's complaining about - without ever reading the post?
PLEASE, follow the simple instructions suggested to you and read at least one of the documents recommended to you.
There.......was.......no.......SWA.......deal. It.......was.......never.......an.......option.
SWA.......couldn't.......match.......RAH's.......d eal.......as.......RAH.......drove.......the...... .price........of.......the.......transaction...... ...out.......of.......what.......SWA.......was.... ...willing.......to........pay.......by........sur rendering.......their........$150MM........BK..... ...creditor.......claim.
Take your time, read it several times, read the EPIC docs, even just one of them, ponder, consider if you should continue to comment on a subject that 1) You know nothing about and 2) Are unable or unwilling to spend 30 researching.
You can do it, just read the documents slowly with a dictionary handy and you'll remove a point of confusion from your life and be ever so much happier.
