To me, this means United realized it was going to fail. They want the cheapest contract possible that will pass 51-49. The current MEC are the guys to deliver it. Had they let it fail, they would have had to deal with new MEC. You guys should recall everyone.

Now that I'm thinking about this a little more, this has to be some real PR maneuvering by the company for their earning call and also a lifeline to the current reps and negotiating committee responsible for this TA.

Why the heck is every turn or thing that comes up a conspiracy theory with pilots on here?
This is a great thing. I will definitely be giving my opinion on the survey about what I didn't like. I'm hoping I get a phone call for the polling, too.
