Ah give him a pass. Dude has probably been hearing doom and gloom from left seat Woodlands residents for last year. As was said unJeffing this place takes time. Didn't hear any sympathy from those same Woodlands guys when Fred Abbott moved a bunch of 737 staffing from EWR to IAH only cause a certain SEC Treasury said mean things about FOF.

No doubt that the captain is surprised after seeing Denver expanded and closed twice by Continental and United management after hearing from both of them that Denver has never made money for either Airline, while Houston has always been profitable and was expanding into South America which was part of the reason for the 787 purchase, to replace the 767s.

#50 in power grid reliability? I've lived in TX several times over the years and never found the power grid to be less reliable than anywhere else in the country. And the US is far better than most of the rest of the world for power grid reliability.
That's just one of the rankings I don't care about. There are a whole lot of other bogus measurements that went into those rankings.
The top 4 on that list: MA, NH, MN, ND. They're at the bottom of my list because I've got to buy a snow shovel to live there. ND is #4? Really? https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings

While I'm not a Texas fan, most of those rankings are pretty 'squishy.'

Don't worry, those of us in California won't ask for any of the federal tax money that goes to Texas from California as long as you promise to keep the heat and humidity in Texas.
