Not really .. they're just defending the hubs, and there's only 7 hubs. If Frontier adds service from Providence to Islip, I highly doubt there'd be a competitive response.

Time will tell .. if nothing else, to keep the cancer from spreading . What definitely doesn't work is just pulling out of the market and ceding to competitors. OAK is a perfect example. I understand your sentiment; you want to root for your own team. That's normal human behavior.

$7B is the market cap. It will cost approx. $10B.

Agree that its more like $10B to buy JB, which means nobody is in a position to do this. VX was purchased for almost DOUBLE their market value, roughly an 89% premium.

You guys are on your own, either fortunately or unfortunately.
