Had the same issue...looked like it was stuck trying to connect to paypal. I uninstalled, thinking I could re-install, then like you, found the website was unresponsive.
This morning I tried the website again and it was back up, I downloaded the app and now am back to normal.

I was having the same issues yesterday, but unfortunately, after working again for just a little while this morning, it's back to not working - at least for me.
I got an email from support early this morning saying the problem came from their web-hosting company. They're adding two weeks paid subscription to all active accounts for the inconvenience.
I just hope it gets to fully working again and soon. It's by far my favorite app for trips.
