I am out still on furlough. Will be returning late 2018. I am about 9000 on the seniority list.

About a year or so on the 737 and 2+ on the 320.

IAH is starting to get more senior than DEN due to lack of movement and growth the last few years.

Why is the 320 so much more senior than the 737? Thanks.

Because when the category went through all of its growth it was filled with new hires, the lack of upward movement in IAH has now made the IAH 320 category stagnant. Overall the IAH 320 category is significantly more junior than the 737 category its just harder to get into as a junior pilot.

Not too sure about that. IAH flipped flopped seniority wise back when I got hired in 04/15. There were displacements off the 737 fleet in IAH and most of those senior guys went to the 320. As an April of 2015 hire I'd be about 90% on the 320 in IAH and 70% on the 737 in IAH.

Have you been in the cockpit of both jets? QED.

That’s the problem with giving an answer to a “which base is more senior” question it’s all subjective.

What’s seniority, Percentage? How many pilots are above you? The seniority of the pilots above you? The seniority of the most junior pilot?

If you look at the amount of pilots on the 737 vs 320 and the seniority of the pilots on each I would say that the 737 is vastly more senior than the 320. However the bottom end of the 737 is significantly more junior.

So what’s the correct answer?
