What makes United so special? I’ll bet you one million dollars I never got rejected from United or any airline. Come on, let’s bet loser!

And SkyW, that sounds like something people who didn’t get hired by United would say.

Sounds like the best and brightest pilots at United have the lowest profit margin in the industry! Lol! I would refuse a job at United.

‘’However, if United goes ahead with its growth plans for 2019 and 2020, its rivals are likely to respond in kind. That could lead to further margin contraction for all three legacy carriers. But United Continental is starting with the lowest profit margin, so it would be the worst-off of the bunch.’’

You are right. We have the worst profit margins in the industry, but we managed to make $3.5B pre-tax earnings in 2017. Just think how much that will be when our margins improve. Even with poor management, United makes money hand over fist. Just think how much it will be when margins improve. We have more potential than any other airline out there.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Whew, that's good. Here let me help you.

Please apply soon, and keep paying people to take your flights while you are stuck at that regional. Stay away from United's passengers.

United is going to make less profits going forward. The cash pile is going down every year. The economy can't get much better than this, so don't expect profits to increase more than 2017. Some of you believe United can bring the RJ flying in-house. How is that possible? Is your training department capable of handling the influx of new pilots and another fleet of aircraft? No, that's why United has to buy XJT and maybe another regional. It solves many issues.

Well, it's wrong. A 50 seat RJ's CASM is almost double that amount. I don't know the source but it's not correct.
