it’s not that the 319/320 isn’t capable of doing so, just that they aren’t configured to do so. Much like the legacy UAL 757’s. No need to send them to Europe when we had the 767’s to do so.

I would take the 737 in EWR if they have it. That was not offered in the last drop and the airbus went before what I anticipate would be my seniority number. So the only option left to get EWR would’ve been the 756. Just trying to get a feel for life on the 756 if that’s what the next drop looks like.

10 spots were offered in this week’s class for 737 ORD. A320 was unlimited in ORD.
Basically every base, except for GUM, and every aircraft that United has was offered to newhires. Plenty of choices.

Anyone know the time difference as a new-hire to hold a line between EWR 320 vs 737? How about IAD?
Like, would it take 5 months for 320 vs 3 months as 737? I know it changes a lot, especially recently, but any ballparks?
