Figure since there are new hires watching here it’s as good a place as any to ask. Can someone please explain how Global Reserve works? Only ever been on NB here thinking of 756 or 777 and also with the 73 and eventually 321s every fleet will have to understand it. I understand the 6 Hard days off (HDOs) can’t be touched. But can they only move your RDOs to potentially cover a global trip? If they move your days and a EWR-SFO 2-day pops up can they use a person who’s days were rolled for that or only a trip that meet the definition of global?

If you get days rolled do you just get a call or message from crew scheduling telling you you’re now on long call starting Day xx for a specified block of days? Thanks

How often have folks been seeing days rolled? please specify base/equipment

My understanding with rolling is they have to assign you a trip and roll you from the get go, can’t be mid trip and they have to use everyone first that avoids a rolling

This^^^^^^^^
You can only be rolled when given the assignment. If you are number 1 in the 2 day silo and a 3 day trip comes open with no one in the 3 day silo available to cover it, you get rolled.

Somewhere between none and a lot. It's different for everyone.

The last few classes on unitedseniority.com have 25-26.

Default LAX 75 Reserve

Hey, about how long would I be on reserve on the 75/76 in SFO and LAX?

Not long at all in SFO. I've only been here roughly four months and I'd currently be about 90% among LAX 756 FOs or 66% for SFO 756 (which is crazy).
