sorry thumbsup, I don’t believe you are correct, then again I don’t have anything definitive to prove it. It sounds like you do though. Could you point us in the correct direction of this publication? Or quote it from somewhere?

Happened a few weeks ago as well...down to the final 3 people with 2x 737 CA and 1x 320 FO....the 3rd from bottom wanted 320FO but ended up with 737CA because the 8 ball wasn't eligible for a CA slot
Can someone clarify do they need 1000 121 hrs before they are eligible for the award? Or will the 500 hrs of UAL time they earn as an FO count toward the 1000?

must meet 121 requirements before being awarded a CA vacancy.

if you had 999 hrs of 121 time on day one of indoc with no other qualifying time you would not be eligible

I can’t link or attach it, but don’t you work at TK? HFPD puts it out, just ask them for it. The current version is V1.2024. I wouldn’t say that’s proof, but it is in conflict with the bidding guide. I certainly hope if someone is getting an aircraft awarded out of seniority order has contacted the union for clarification.

As long as 8-F-12s are being assigned to the most junior eligible pilots, I don’t believe the company or union consider this “out of seniority order”. The contract would have to expressly forbid this, which it does not.

But, but, but... that's completely different, is logical, and cannot be argued against. The guy is such a db.

I don't know. All I know is it's always so over the top with that guy - truly comical how he comes across.
