unfortunately, nobody here can give you a real answer.

I waited 4 months from CJO to class without any pauses. To play it safe, I’d guess August? Again, totally a guess and I could be wrong

His was 4 months. Mine was 2 months. YMMV.

I would guess longer especially since we’re still interviewing and filling up a pool. May go to 6+ months at some point. Good luck either way.

Any recent class drops?

This isn't as complicated as some of you are making it out to be. All of the growth numbers and pilot hiring were based on a delivery plan that just isn't going to happen. United is expecting a 40% reduction in deliveries for at least 2024 and 2025 and likely longer, a slowing of hiring is to be expected as a result. The airline is still growing and still hiring at a historically rapid pace. Did anyone actually believe all the pie in the sky numbers coming from management?

What are the projected hiring numbers for 2025?

You're asking a question with no solid answer - one that could change every month until the number is zero. It's been said we're only taking a couple month pause for '24. If that's the case, and we go back to 50ish/week, you can do the math for this year. But no one really truly knows what that number will be until 12/31/24. '25..? No clue.

Go to the bar. Darts on a dart board will give you the best answer.

I think it important to note that UA is not just emailing CJOs as I’ve heard some have gotten in the past. Recently heard phone calls were being made so I wouldn’t screen your calls if you recently interviewed.

Am I hearing classes increasingly filled with FDX folks lately?
