I've never had that issue when flying internationally. That includes SFO-PVG-LAX-PVG-SFO on the 787. YMMV.

I wonder if the lower cabin altitude in 787 makes that much of a difference. Im wiped out after any NRT trip. Im gonna give the guppy a chance for a while. If it sucks, i will bid 787.

I flew some LAX-LHR-LAX trips on the 777; never had any issues with them either.
That said, the 787 is a step up from the 777. I think the humidity levels are more advantageous than cabin altitude on the 787. As far as the flight deck, the 787 is nicer.

Don't get me wrong, I still like the 777 a lot.

I don't really care about destinations so Fifi's fine for me - I know many prefer where the guppy flies to. It's all just a hotel room away from the family for me so there's not much difference to me if it's Des Moines or Cancun.

So does that mean you’ll be bidding back to guppy captain :D

If it paid the same, yes! Besides, the guppy will fly rings around the 777, it's a lot faster.

The stuff the FTC sends you is pretty thorough and up to date, but generally it is two weeks of Basic Indoc then a break before about 4 weeks of fleet training (how long varies). You’ll pick your base and equipment on the first day.

Obviously the Guppy is faster. It can take off, fly to its destination, and land like 20 times in the time it takes the 777 to do it once. :D

You got me there, BUT, I will get more credit hours at a higher rate for my 1 preflight, taxi, takeoff, landing and post flight, than you will in your 20 (hyperbole intended) “Supersonic Approach Speed Guppy” flights, and I’ll have a nice nap enroute in my comfy bunk.......😂
