It is amazing how unencumbered many are by a complete lack of knowledge or understanding of a subject some are, but they still pontificate about it as if they have a clue.

Go read flying the line. A huge reason pilots enjoy the compensation we do is ALPA's outsized political clout. Study the history. Ask AAL pilots why their pension is frozen vice terminated if you want a recent example. I guess we shouldn't be surprised that people just make things up.

No, you admitted that NMB composition is "only one factor of MANY", then proceeded to imply that the reason why JBLU doesn't have a contract is due to the NMB.

Thanks for acknowledging that you're just making things up to 'prove' a certain political point of view.

As for ALPA, they are wise enough to ignore (R) and (D), contributing to those elected officials who share ALPA's point of view. Either ALPA's making a huge mistake by making any contributions to (R)s or the belief that only (D)s will help pilots is extremely flawed. Take your pick. And feel free to keep on with the partisan commentary.

ALPA is smart to spread the money around and focus on pilot partisan politics. And it is true that neither party do exactly what we want, but there is no comparison between how the two parties treat labor. Anyone with an ounce of legislative experience or knowledge of any labor history understands that. Andy and many right wing pilots try to create a false equivalency to rationalize their firmly held beliefs no matter how imaginary they might be.

And there is no comparison between how to the two parties fight to protect unborn children from being murdered. Each has to answer for their priorities in voting. For some of us the life of an unborn child is more important. For others it's ALPA and labor and whatever other selfish thing.

I realized just a few years that I am not God. I will let him judge them.

The minute that abortion is outlawed, the R's potentially lose a hell of a lot of single-issue voters. So, don't get your hopes up. They're happy with the staus quo.

Same with race relations, gender wage gap, and opportunities for minorities for the democrat party. No incentive for democrats to fix them.
