Pro tip: Pre-write generic handwritten thank you notes on good stationary ahead of time. Get the exact names (and titles) of everyone you interact with and put their names on envelopes after. Ask the secretary or whoever is your point of contact that day to deliver them on your way out of the building (don’t forget to address one to him/her also).
That was the gouge I got a few years ago and it seemed to work pretty well. |

Had a bud do this. He said the interview went very well. But didn’t get the job. He said he didn’t want to, but was told to by an interview consulting company.

So you think he didn’t get the job because he wrote thank you notes?

I’m glad to hear they put an end to the card writing. Just as silly as needing to wear a red tie for a Delta interview.
Wait, what? I wore a red tie to the United interview. Was that wrong? ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, I saw a few people with red ties. There was a guy with a plaid suit! I’m curious to see how it went for that guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
