Default Max 10

Anybody know when these are supposed to come online? Heard some rumblings about issues with it.

2020.

Haven't heard anything more specific than that.

I guess we can start saying, "Next year"...

The prototype is still being built, and won't fly till later this year. Then flight test. Projected deliveries to be in 2020. Nothing more specific. I'd guess most of the plane is pretty well sorted so certification should be fairly trouble free, if Pratt can get the engines delivered on time. Some troubles with the GTF and the CFM Leap.

On a related note, the new 737 CQDL has a 29 question open book WOM quiz covering North Atlantic track and European airspace operations.

Any idea why 737 pilots need to be studying up on those sections?

As with the other MAX variants, the LEAP is the only engine option.
