Any idea why 737 pilots need to be studying up on those sections?
Word from the fleet is that it’s cheaper and more efficient to issue the training in a normal CQDL versus having to issue special training in the event they decide to take it across the Atlantic. Doesn’t mean the Max will for sure be doing that but I would guess they definitely are looking at it.

A Guppy crossing the Atlantic is just about as dumb as it crossing the Pacific!!! The 57 still has to make fuel stops in Gander during the winter. That airplane is way outside its mission.

It does just fine on the shorter European segments. You make it sound like it’s still happening.

I know. I wasn’t trying to say anything negative about the 57. I was just trying to make a point that if a much more capable airplane (757) has issues sometimes, then what would you expect from a less capable airplane?

I wonder if MAX10 will have 757-style lie flat seats up front?
