I received the Hogan invite 20 days after my CP M&G. I know I was wondering after my meeting so I figured I would put it out there.

Has anyone received a Hogan after attending WAI 2022?

Was it in SFO? You have to be a “high speed” E-2 pilot......

I attended a meet and greet and ended up getting a Letter of Rec upon completion. Roughly 72 hours after the LOR was submitted, I received the invite. Completed Leadership Inventory Assessment on a Saturday, received interview invite on Monday afternoon.

I had M&G on 3/16. Received leadership email this morning (3/30). Did not attend any GPA or WIA conferences.

I am in the unexpected (enviable?) position of having several friends @ various UAL domiciles looking out for me, yielding multiple CP M&G offers. My knee jerk reaction to this is all good, more points to help the cause! My gut reaction is not so much.
Concerns: 1. Maybe one M&G is enough, and so why put everyone else through the hassle of arranging M&Gs that aren't necessarily helpful. 2. I could see how going to more than one M&G could be seen as a negative about the time I'm sitting in front of the 2nd or 3rd CP, with the CP wondering why he/she is spending valuable time doing what another CP has already done. 3. IF I end up being convinced to go through with more than one CP M&G, I would ABSOLUTELY disclose it before proceeding with any arrangements, and again while at the subsequent M&Gs, which brings us back to concern #2. 4. I'm inclined to think CPs are busy enough and don't need to spend a minute longer than necessary on any given candidate (i.e. - if one M&G is enough, then spare the 2nd CP from having to sit through one with a candidate who's already had one). 5. Related to #4, I would think that any CP M&G I get in excess of one is a M&G opportunity I'm taking from another candidate, which I would consider inherently selfish, particularly if concern #1 is correct. I may indeed be overthinking things, but admittedly never imagined a scenario like this. For what it's worth, my concerns are at least as altruistic as they are not wanting to hamper my own efforts. Any thoughts or perspectives would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. |
Don’t over think it. My buddy had a M&G recently. 10 days from handshake to interview. He’s a ulcc CA.

M&G’s are base specific but the guidance the DEN CPO put out included “do not request a meeting for candidates who previously participated in a M&G (at any base), has an upcoming interview, or was previously unsuccessful in the pilot selection process.”
