This tells me we did this in house. This whole "color palette" situation must be an inside job because no Manhattan firm would put their name behind something that looks like it was made on Microsoft paint circa 1995.

Our brand is where we should spend the big bucks. Our current livery with the gold looks way classier than this. I would vote to change nothing.

My money is on Oscar's son. I hear he's the same person behind "operation plum."

Can we make sure this paint job bafoonery comes out of management's profit sharing and not ours? How much is this going to cost us? New uniforms, new paint jobs....It's like we got money to burn??

Am I missing something Captain Obvious?

FWIW, it’s not in house nor Manhattan, but London, and it’s the same firm that has done all of UAL’s “branding” for the past several years including designing the Polaris cabin.

I can see that they did the Polaris interiors but they definitely had nothing to do with our current (Continental) livery... And while it's possible, I'm finding it hard to believe that they or any other branding professional did this particular scheme.

Correct, the white/blue/gold CAL logo and paint job was originally done by Lippincott nearly 30 years ago (1991). Later, they tweaked it for the merged airline and did some additional branding work before being replaced by PriestmanGoode.

Here’s the livery preview video that UA posted last week (it was also on FlyingTogether)—-note the inclusion of Mr Goode.

Love it or hate it, UAL paid big bucks to a top firm for this whole re-branding.

Maybe we should get Lippincott back. But hey... They just pay me to fly the plane.

Can you return it? It’s been less than 30 days.
